Tadanori Yokoo (1936- ) is one of the best known Japanese graphic designers. Although he has focused since the early 1980s primarily on painting, his poster designs from the earlier part of his career are still highly regarded and sought after. Yokoo's wild psychedelic collages incorporating elements of Western pop culture and Eastern mysticism have been exhibited all over the world.
This poster advertises an exhibition of Tadanori Yokoo’s posters held at the Musée de la Publicité in Paris. The design features samurai and a Japanese Rising Sun flag motif.
