Jiri Oplatek trained as a graphic designer at Basel School of Design and cofounded studio Claudiabasel in 2003. He was inducted into the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) in 2018. For an exhibition on the work of celebrated architect Benard Tschumi, Oplatek cleverly intertwines the typography (the name of the exhibition and museum) with the elements of Tschumi’s architectural drawing (Manhattan Transcripts 3 from 1980).
