Prominent Swiss graphic designer Werner Jeker (1944-) is well known for his skillful use of photography in graphic design. He co-founded the Ateliers du Nord design firm in Lausanne, Switzerland, has been a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) since 1989, and has received a number of international awards for his poster designs.
This poster for a photography exhibition in Lauasanne won the prestigious Swiss Poster Award in 1994. The black and white type beautifully complements the photographic image, seamlessly switching between black text in the white parts of the image and white text in the black areas.
