Dick Elffers (1910-1990) trained as a graphic designer in the Netherlands and also worked in many areas of the fine arts. He referred to his richly-colored posters as “street paintings”. This eye-catching and lighthearted poster advertises an exhibition on church architecture at Amsterdam’s Stedelijk Museum.
