Finnish furniture and home goods company Artek launched a series of posters in 2013 to celebrate the company’s iconic modern designs. Designed by Berlin-based graphic design firm Greige and printed on thick recycled paper, this poster features Alvar Aalto’s 1932 Armchair 41. Aalto designed the bent plywood chair for Finland’s Paimio Sanatorium, an institution for tuberculosis patients. The chair became a staple in residences and offices in Finland and beyond and remains in production.
