This poster features a design for a chair by Yrjö Kukkapuro
(1933 - ), a celebrated Finnish designer of furniture and interiors. The poster was originally printed in 1993 to raise money for the production of the chair. The chair was subsequently produced in a limited run of only 39 pieces. In 2023 the poster was reissued to raise funds for the home studio of Kukkapuro and his wife, graphic designer Irmeli Kukkapuro, to be turned into a museum.
