Annik Troxler (1979- ) works as a graphic designer in Basel, Switzerland and teaches at the Basel School of Design. A member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) since 2013, she produces colorful and vibrant posters for cultural events. Troxler designed this poster for the annual Weltformat Festival in Lucerne, Switzerland. The festival, founded in 2009, celebrates international poster design. Troxler’s warped world map references the festival’s name: Weltformat means world format and is also the term for the standard Swiss poster size of 90 x 128 centimeters (35.5 x 50.5 inches).
