In 2022, the Center for Visual Arts in Berlin presented an exhibition featuring the winning works from the Tokyo Type Directors Club’s annual design competition. Founded in 1987, the Tokyo TDC promotes excellence in typography through its annual competitions and exhibitions. Jianping He of Hedesign, a Berlin-based graphic design studio, created a series of three posters for the exhibition, each featuring one of the letters T, D, and C.
