Thomas Couderc and Clément Vauchez founded studio Helmo in Montreuil, France in 2007. Their design work has won international prizes and has been added to the collections of major museums.

Helmo produced this screenprint for their longtime client Jazzdor, a jazz festival held in Strasbourg and Berlin. Look closely at the blue and pink circles – are they printed on the curled strips of white paper or superimposed on the image as a separate layer? The optical puzzle draws us into the image.
