Stefan Gandl founded graphic design and typography studio Neubau in Berlin in 2001. One of Neubau’s typefaces, NB-Rietveld, honors Dutch architect and furniture designer Gerrit Rietveld. Gandl’s advertising poster shows the typeface’s interlocking square elements, inspired by the geometric construction of Rietveld’s famous Red-Blue chair, spelling out the architect's name.
