Helmut Brade (1937- ) is considered one of the most significant figures in East German poster design, and he continued his successful career after German reunification. Brade has designed over 700 posters, the majority for theater productions. He has won more awards at German poster competitions than any other designer.
Brade designed this delightful poster, with its neon orange rooster providing a striking call to attention, for a 1978 poster exhibition in Halle, East Germany. This silkscreened poster is in pristine condition.
