Japanese graphic designer Takaaki Bando (1957-) produced this poster in 1996 for Kieler Woche, the annual sailing festival in Kiel, Germany. Since 1948, the festival organizers have held an annual competition to design the festival’s poster and graphic identity, inviting prominent graphic designers from around the world to participate.
