Zurich design studio NORM produced this remarkable poster for an exhibition on Swiss graphic design at the Zurich design museum. NORM’s playful neon composition both honors and questions Switzerland’s reputation for staid, grid-based graphics. The collage includes well-known examples of Swiss graphics, including a large Hevetica “a”, the Swiss Air airplane/arrow logo, a 1927 logo for Gaba throat lozenges, and Herbert Matter’s iconic image of the Swiss mountains from his 1935 “All Roads Lead to Switzerland” poster.
